This Policy explains how we collect, use, and share information when you use SFE-Edge websites, APIs, and edge services. By using the service, you acknowledge this Policy.
1. Who we are
HTXpunk LLC (“we”) provides SFE-Edge, an edge service that can reshape HTML structure for AI crawlers. We are based in Houston, Texas, USA.
2. Information we collect
Information you provide
- Account details: email address, site/origin URL, plan selection, optional custom host.
- Communications: messages you send to info@htxpunk.com or via forms.
- Invite codes or other access credentials you submit.
Information collected automatically
- Technical data: IP address, user-agent, request path, timestamps, approximate location (via CDN), and diagnostic headers when you call our APIs or hit the proxy.
- Tenant and operational data: slug, status, access token identifiers, activation notes, cache keys, and rate-limit counters stored in Cloudflare Workers KV / edge caches.
- When you use the audit API: the target URL you request us to fetch and derived structural scores (not intended for storing full page content long-term).
Payment information
If card payments are enabled, payment card data is processed by our payment provider (for example Stripe). We receive limited billing metadata (such as customer id, subscription id, email) — not full card numbers.
3. How we use information
- Provide, secure, and improve SFE-Edge (provisioning, proxying, caching, abuse prevention).
- Communicate about access, activation, support, and service changes.
- Process payments and prevent fraud when billing is enabled.
- Comply with law and enforce our Terms of Use.
4. Sharing
We share information with service providers that process data on our behalf, including:
- Cloudflare — hosting, Workers, KV, DNS, security.
- Payment processors (when enabled) — subscription billing.
- Email delivery tools — if used for transactional or form email.
We may disclose information if required by law, to protect rights and safety, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or asset sale (with notice where appropriate). We do not sell your personal information as “sell” is commonly understood for data brokerages.
5. Cookies and similar technologies
Our marketing and onboarding pages may use browser localStorage for product analytics (for example funnel events) and to remember an access token you save. Cloudflare may set security cookies. If we add third-party analytics, we will update this Policy and provide choices where required.
6. Retention
We retain account and operational data for as long as your tenant exists and as needed for security, legal, and accounting purposes. Rate-limit keys expire automatically. You may request deletion of account data by emailing us (subject to legal retention needs).
7. Security
We use industry-standard hosting controls (TLS, edge isolation, access tokens, admin secrets). No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. Protect your onboarding links and tokens.
8. International users
We operate from the United States. If you access the service from other regions, you understand information may be processed in the U.S. and other countries where our providers operate.
9. Your choices and rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export personal information, or to object to certain processing. Contact info@htxpunk.com. California residents may have additional rights under the CCPA/CPRA; we will not discriminate for exercising those rights. EU/UK users may have GDPR rights; we process data to perform a contract and for legitimate interests in operating a secure service.
10. Children
SFE-Edge is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
11. Changes
We may update this Policy by posting a new effective date. Material changes may be highlighted on the site or by email when appropriate.
