Terms of Use
These Terms govern access to and use of SFE-Edge (the edge proxy, APIs, marketing site, and related services). By creating an account, checking “I agree,” or using the service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
1. The service
SFE-Edge is a reverse-proxy and structural optimization service. When configured for your origin website, it may rewrite HTML structure (for example headings, chunking, emphasis, and schema) for requests that appear to come from AI crawlers. Ordinary human browsers are intended to receive your origin response without SFE mutation (“passthrough”).
Features, plans, and limits may change. Marketing descriptions of “citation,” “visibility,” or similar outcomes are aspirational readiness tools, not guarantees of rankings, traffic, revenue, or inclusion in any model’s answers.
2. Eligibility and accounts
You must be able to form a binding contract and have authority to connect the origin site you register. You are responsible for safeguarding access tokens and admin credentials issued to you. Pending accounts may require payment, invite code, or our manual activation before proxy paths serve production traffic.
3. Acceptable use
- Do not use SFE-Edge for illegal content, fraud, malware, or abuse of third-party systems.
- Do not attempt to bypass rate limits, authentication, or tenant isolation.
- Do not use the audit API to scan systems you are not authorized to test.
- Do not use structural rewriting to engage in deceptive practices that violate search engine, platform, or advertising rules applicable to you.
- You are solely responsible for your origin content, DNS, bot/WAF settings, and compliance.
4. Customer responsibilities (important)
You represent that you own or control the origin URL and any custom hostnames you map. You decide how bots reach the proxy (path, CNAME, or other configuration). You must allow legitimate AI crawlers if you want them to receive SFE responses. You remain responsible for claims that bot-specific content violates a third party’s terms (including search “cloaking” policies).
5. Fees and payment
Paid plans, when offered, are billed according to the prices shown at signup or in an order form. Until card billing is enabled, invoices or other payment methods we agree in writing may apply. Fees are generally non-refundable except where required by law or expressly stated. Failed payment or abuse may result in suspension.
6. Intellectual property
We and our licensors own SFE-Edge software, branding, and documentation. You retain ownership of your origin site content. You grant us a limited license to fetch and process origin responses solely to provide the service. Feedback you provide may be used to improve the product without obligation to you.
7. Third-party services
The service runs on infrastructure such as Cloudflare and may integrate payment processors (for example Stripe) and email tools. Their terms and privacy practices apply to their processing.
8. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE OPERATION, OR ANY PARTICULAR SEARCH, AI, OR BUSINESS RESULT.
9. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, HTXPUNK LLC AND ITS OFFICERS, MEMBERS, AND CONTRACTORS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID US FOR THE SERVICE IN THE THREE (3) MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM (OR ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS IF YOU HAVE NOT PAID).
10. Indemnity
You will defend and indemnify HTXpunk LLC against claims arising from your content, your origin site, your misuse of the service, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.
11. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate access for non-payment, abuse, legal risk, or operational necessity. You may stop using the service at any time. Provisions that by nature should survive (including IP, disclaimers, limits, and indemnity) will survive termination.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, excluding conflict-of-law rules. Exclusive venue for disputes lies in state or federal courts located in Harris County, Texas, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
13. Changes
We may update these Terms by posting a revised version with a new effective date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance, except where notice or consent is required by law.
